I knew my car needed a few things done but it could wait a 'little while' said the guy. Well, driving home from the lake 2 Sundays ago with 3 others in the car, i noticed that we would randomly swerve in different directions. And i thought, hmmm my driving isn't that bad. I made sure to tell the others that i was in fact not the one doing it. : ) The next Wed., i took my little Herbie to the shop to see what might be wrong. The guy took Herbie for a drive and checked the front half out. The guy sits at the table i was waiting at, looks me in the eye and says, "you're car is dangerous, please park it tonite and never drive it again." Hmmm...i think, that's not good. The poor car needed $2500 of work done in the front half alone. ball joints, struts, pinions soaked in oil, the tires(brand new Pirelli i might add) were rubbed to the metal bindings due to everything moving around...etc. Basically, the car could shift into the other lane or ditch and kill everyone in it. Poor car.

I had been thinking the day before, well, i would consider leasing a car come sept. Well, sept, turned into june 7th. The dealer gave me an absurd price for my poor car. And being more crazy then practical, i didn't take out the stereo or comand start before he looked at it. (maybe doing it all by myself wasn't the smartest idea) I am now the proud leaser(not loser) of a 2007 Chev Aveo. It's pretty and it's blue. The only criteria i had was A/C and cup holders. : ) But i got a whole whackload more. It ended up being more costly too-but they only had 2 left. Oh well-it's still blue and pretty. : ) Still figuring out a name.
