Hi Friends

I miss you guys....you know who you are. : ) Life in the camp bubble has it's good and bad sides. Though, since i haven't left the camp(minus the 3 minute drive to isabelle and roberts for supper) i haven't had to buy gas, i haven't gone out to wonderful restaurants(sigh), or bought more movies(3 more last weekend including Narnia) and i can't buy new clothes(though again, the last time i was with jenn was costly...AND the fabulous brown short things already have a bleach spot...sigh). Aimee and i have bonded over watching movies, FRIENDS and reality t.v(she's kinda a fanatic). Sometimes, i notice the gap in our ages, but often it really doesn't matter.
We have finished planning our camps(minus the inner city one) and plan to get all needed supplies on Friday. There has already been 2 camps which i think we did quite well. At the beginning of our jobs, we joked that we could handle every needed job at the camp....well...i really have to stop joking about stuff...it seems to come true. I'm also the nurse. And we still need a lifegaurd. and male counselors. sigh. During our old people camp, we did the programming, cleaning, and for 1.5 days cooking, but we made it through. Old people are interesting. I like stories of days past...well....for awhile anyway. BUT! i did get to play Phase 10...people we have to play it, good times.

Anywho...we're hoping to make a day trip to s'toon on monday(So clear your calendars!!) but it's not set in stone yet.
And send emails, i just don't have time to read blogs and therefore really don't know what's happening with people! Again, i miss my friends in Toon town. sigh.

lalala

i haven't been at the camp for a week now...crazy. i was in regina for tues.(last week) for youth group(i've started going with aimee to her's to hang out with the kids in the hood : ) ) and then wed. i was in stoon for what was supposed to be one nite. It turned into two which meant i didn't pick up church clothes at camp before coming back to regina haha. It also meant not driving on the highway with random sections of road missing in the pouring rain-hooray! I have stayed in regina at hotel jenn since fri. nite. It rained all day sat. so what could we do but watch t.v and movies all day? heehee...quite fun. We've watched 4.5 movies now, random t.v shows and 1 intense hockey game haha. On Sunday, we hit up church, lunch at this place called Zest (in the science centre) and walked around the entire wascana park...with many many geese and ducks...kinda scary when your ankles aren't covered and they are right close. Poor jenn has blisters....but i bet she won't wear heels for a walk again heehee.
So, now i'm off to a quick appointment, and mail my fathers day card and it's back to camp. We have our joy camp starting wed.(50+ camp) complete with a wagon ride : ). have a great week people.

- I went on an adventure to Roleau SK b/c a new friend wanted to see the Corner Gas set. they were filming and we couldn't take pictures. the orange vested lady was rather rude
- we've had 1 super nice day where aimee and i tanned on the dock
- i definitely need some visitors out here
- i spend time with aimee's friends and family b/c i have no one here...sigh

that's about it
