Something Bit Me

i have a couple odd bites from the lake the other day. Most likely a lake bug...sigh, why is my blood so yummy...
Anywho, i find myself feeling like a headless chicken lately. I'm so scattered looking for jobs in random towns, provinces and school divisions. I don't even know what most of the positions are i'm just applying. Now i have 2 interviews down south...it's too bad one got switched and i have to drive down twice. I'm also applying for a whack that just came up near saskatoon which would mean i wouldn't have to move....but if i'm offered the position i'm driving down for tomorrow....i don't know what to do because what if i get something close to home? Sigh...i'm worrying about things that haven't even happened yet. I am always the best canadite for that verse in Matt. talking about not worrying about tomorrow. *Sigh* i just need to stop thinking.

Summer in a Nutshell

To summerize my summer as a program director/nurse:

- 2 trips to the ER(at nite of course)
- hit 1 porcupine
- 2 medi-clinic trips
- many late nites
- 1 bad bronchial sickness
- 2 times in the mudpit
- many watergames
- over 300 pictures(on the camp puter)
- 1 week of cooking for a rental group (and random weekends of cooking before july)
- many songs with actions
- pretending to be a lifeguard watching kids swim (with lifejackets when no lifeguard was to be had)
- couple staff weekends
- many walmart trips-one where i was summoned to 'meet my party' with a new last name haha
- riding in a boat as a tube 'spotter'
- 'healed' many booboos...some with vitamin c or jolly ranchers
- 1 bad choc. ex-lax incident(for a camper not me)
- 1 very nice tan haha
- 1 insanely dirty car
- a couple scary car problems
- 1 tire blowing on the bus while driving staff to camp...with the hole it made in the floor of the bus
- being able to hang out with jenn who was a lifesaver
- many fun, crazy moments with my co-program director and other staff
- fun quotes such as: "Don't make fun of her, she has lekuma"
- a definite stretching of my faith
- many lessons on trusting God

blah blah blah

my 1 week at home is over half done....man am i bored. i didn't have a car for 2 days, yay, another $250 repair(argh). No real job and no $$ make tamra go something something something.....*sigh* So, my week off is basically me sitting at the computer trying to find somewhere in SK or AB where i can get a job. I'm officially sick of subbing and am ready for a 'real' job.
There's one week of rentals which i'm cooking for and 1 week of inner city camp left. And then i'm back for good. Unless by some miracle, i get a job somewhere. Just have to win the lottery.....though first need $ for the ticket haha.
I'll get around to posting pics from camp, but most of them are on the camp computer so i'll have to put them on my camera first. The camp 'puter is super slow.
