HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I know it's a bit early, but i was late on the Merry Christmas, so i figure it evens out. I've had a nice restful break.
- Happy to see friends who have come back from faraway lands (yes even Winterpig can be far :) )
- Enjoying not having to rush places and can shower whenever i feel like it : )
- Though i haven't really spent time with groups of friends, it's been kinda good
- I've enjoyed one-on -one time with people i haven't seen in awhile
- went shopping for sales....normally i'm not a fan of shopping-i think it helped that the last time was in summer for Panama
- Can't wait til my first 'real' payday on the 6th-then i'm really going shopping : )
- Looking forward to a good New Year's Eve
- Mom's new car transmission hasn't come yet-she's not impressed with the cavelier courtesy car
- i still haven't been able to play my new dutch blitz with anyone-very dissappointed in lack of game playing and fun with groups of people
-Almost ready to get back to working and being busy again
- I'm breaking my old new years resolution of many years past of not making them anymore and i think i'm out to make new friends this next year....not that mine suck or anything....i just want to meet new ones on top of the ones i already have.
- Now that Shanny's back, i want to go to Thailand, Costa Rica, Panama, etc.
- Thinking more and more about applying to Cal break. I think i may have the funds for it, so once i apply and if i'm accepted, i just may be going.
So, i think those would be my random thoughts in a nutshell...though it's really not a shell...and i'm probly the only nut, but whatever. Happy New Year one and all....Blessings for next year. : )

Just for Trav

It's funny how it's Christmas, and i don't have anything to post-good or bad.
My mom's car broke down Christmas Eve and God sent a tow truck guy within a minute of it happening. He was really nice. My sister gave him a bag of hershey kisses because it was Christmas Eve. We had our fam.(the 4 of us) Christmas on the Eve and opened our gifts. Mom once again went overboard, though who am i to complain really? : ) My dad's fam. came over on Christmas Day and we had the big turkey dinner...haha and i've had a couple since-man, leftovers are great! : ) And that is pretty much my Christmas. I went shopping today-hit the sales i guess. Though i still need jeans, odd, that's what i went for in the first place! It never fails, when i shop for something i come home with everything but! Oh well, next time i go for something else, i'll find some jeans. : )
Merry Season and Happy New Year!!

ja;iajef;aj;wie

For lack of a better title, i'm happy with what is there i think. : )

Not too much to report in my world. I've been working pretty much everyday. I was very fortunate to meet Mrs. Tennant from Confed. I've worked there almost every day. I consider myself the 'unofficial' sub of the school.
I'm still sick. I hate being sick. I feel pretty much okay minus the stuffed nose and nasty cough. The sub lady wouldn't let me work today because i sounded pretty scary with larengitis. So, i stayed home. Only to have my sister upset. Her guinea pig had a tumor on it's back which apparently opened during the nite. I guess when he shook himself out the blood inside sprayed all over the wall and her bed. I have no problem understanding why she was freaked out. We took him to the vet and had him put down. Man what a wierd day.

PAY DAY : )

I got paid today. It's only for 2 days, but it still feels pretty darn good to be getting a paycheck that's decent again. My check for next month is already double this one. So far for subbing, i have been called every single day. I even had to say no yesterday to Warman, which felt kinda good since they were rather rude.
This morning, i was spit on, scratched, punched and kicked....grade ones are stronger then you give them credit for let me tell you! This afternoon, i was hanging out in the pre-k room...i even forgot to go for my break because i was so into blowing bubbles with the kids. haha....i can't believe i'm getting paid decent money to blow bubbles! Though it sure made up for the morning. Everyday seems like a new adventure.
